Learning French changes lives, and these stories are the best proof
In this video, you'll hear the moving stories of newcomers to Quebec who chose to give themselves the means to express themselves better, understand their environment, and build their future — in French.
Speaking French in Quebec isn't just about learning a language. It's about being able to participate fully in Quebec society, integrate into the job market, and forge lasting connections.
The Government of Quebec offers free French courses to people aged 16 and over residing in Quebec (and not subject to compulsory school attendance), as well as to those who wish to settle here. These courses are sometimes accompanied by financial assistance, depending on certain criteria.
